MY STORY

Hi, I'm Shannon.

 

I have worked as a coach for over 10 years, specialising in personal training and nutrition over the past 6. I have seen first-hand what restrictive dieting, social media and lack of confidence in your appearance can do to your physical health and even more so your mental health.

When I first started in the industry I got sucked into the aesthetic side of fitness. All I wanted was abs and to look good. Eating the good ole chicken and broccoli diet and demonising any tasty food. I dieted hard, I starved myself, I binge ate, I yo-yoed up and down with my weight. I was afraid to eat anything tasty and felt like an absolute failure when I couldn’t maintain a ‘clean’ diet. I was miserable.

I want each of my clients to enjoy exercise, enjoy eating and have no guilt around having chocolate or taking a few days off from the gym.

We spend ALL of our time with ourselves, it is important to love the person you are spending time with.

I coach people in a way that makes you learn and not only understand the process but understand how your body works best as well as helping you surround your day with positive influences! Besides nutrition and training, I analyse sleep, stress, routine, current habits and self-care.
